Still With You

From the Blue Mountains to Mount Druitt, Mountain of Youth took it’s first steps out of the mountains and worked with the WASH house in Bidwill, to run a 3 week holiday program with young women from the area aged 13 – 15.
Over 9 high intensity workshops, filled with story exercises, drama games and a deep dive into the memories that defined us, ‘Still with you’ was created. Still with you is based on the group’s collective memories of growing up in Mount Druitt, fragmented families and how substance abuse can sometimes reverse the roles of parent and child.

On Christmas Eve, a recovering father spends one fleeting night with his estranged teenage daughter.
